                 WELCOME TO THE FALLEN APPLE

This file is going to give you information on how the main sections of this BBS works.

 LOGON/

When you log onto the system, the first thing that you will see is the
system checking for Proterm Emulation. Proterm Emulation is a special
terminal emulation that will allow you to see special characters.
These characters include black and white apples, arrows, files and
many other special characters that are not on a normal keyboard.
The only why that you can see this special emulation is to have the
right terminal or telecommunication program. If you are using Proterm (r),
Then set your emulation before you dial up the system. If you have a
computer other than an Apple, then you are outa luck. But the system
does support Non-proterm standard text emulation. If you do not have
Proterm Emulation then just hit [ESC] when the system says that it is
checking for emulation, and you will be prompted to the standard side
of the system.

 PASSWORD/

After you get passed the emulation check, the system will ask you for a
user number and a password. If you do not have an account on the system
then just type [NEW] and hit (C/R). The system will then prompt you to
the new account application section.
After you have given the proper account number and password and
depending on your emulation, you will be taken to eithr the Proterm
Special or the standard section of the system. If you run Proterm
Emulation you will be prompted to the WELCOME section. That is going to
be the next topic. If you do NOT run Proterm Special then you will be
prompted to the standard side of the system. If the later is the case
